...And Here I Lie - 1997 Compilation CD track w/me on session keyboards

...And Here I Lie were a great doom metal band from Rochester. For a while Night Conquers Day shared a rehearsal room with Averse Sefira (Gregg was doing session drums for their live shows in late '98) in this huge warehouse place where bands could rent rooms to rehearse in. Dozens of bands had rooms there, and around the corner from our room was ...And Here I Lie. They'd hang with us at Rehearsals and I listened to them rehearse. So at some point in 1997 Chris (their drummer) asked if I would practice and learn a song with them that they were recording for a compilation CD. So for a few weeks I rehearsed this song with them. They had already written all the music & lyrics. They just wanted me to add keyboards and play them throughout. I based everything on their riffs and structures. I think it's a killer depressive melancholy song, excellent atmospheric doom-death with Brian's mournful vocals. It's 10+ minutes long! The line-up on this song is:
Chris Dalcin - Drums  (far right in pic)
Noah Yousey - Guitars  (2md from left)
Brian Volke - Vocals
Rob McAllister - Bass
Mikael - session Keyboards (I am NOT in the band pic)
It's a great song called "From My Window". I cannot remember the name of the Compilation CD it came from, but I think it was some sort of local band comp or western NY metal comp or something like that. It was recorded all in one day at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, NY with Doug White .
