Praise Eternal Night 'Zine - 1994
I actually did a Magazine back in the early 1990's. Praise Eternal Night 'Zine - Issue I - Candlemas XXVIII A.S. (February 1994). I only managed to put out one issue which sold OK I guess. I couldn't afford to print the 2nd issue, so I split the finished interviews with 2 other U.S. Mags, and neither ended up using them either. To make up for it, we did make a mini-zine called Shreds Of Insanity that coincided with the radio show I was doing ("Sonic Insanity"). I was immersed in the underground at this point (1993) and I had many other mags that I had ordered through the mail based on flyers you would receive from other bands or tapetraders or from whomever wrote to you. Everyone spread flyers. We had ours too. A lot of bands sent me their demo's to be reviewed, and I did. I tried to be articulate with titles, years and also including logos. All sorts of art is throughout - mostly taken from gothic victorian books, border books, occult books, band flyers, all kinds of shit. I came up with names for each section of the mag. I rated everything from 0 to 13 candles (in tribute to Bathory of course!) in the reviews section. I interviewed all the bands by letter-writing. It took about a year to put it all together and it's all cut-and-paste and many hours with scissors and glue, and then printing all the copies up. Some of these bands became letter-writing friends and tapetrader friends of mine through the 90's.

Thanks for scanning and uploading it! Judging from your demo tape covers I bet it's going to look really neat.
